Venue Hire Agreement

  • See Change PT is not liable to the Hirer for any loss suffered by the Hirer arising out of the Hirer’s use of the facility. The Hirer releases the organisation from any claim made against the organisation arising out of, in connection with or caused by the Hirer’s use of the facility.

  • The Hirer indemnifies the organisation from and against all claims, demands, actions, costs and expenses arising out of, in connection with or caused by the Hirer’s use of the facility.

  • The Hirer agrees to reimburse the organisation for the full cost of repairing any damage caused to the facility, its facilities and any other property owned by the organisation.

  • The Hirer agrees to notify the organisation of all injuries or damage arising out of the Hirer’s use of the facility within 7 days of becoming aware of the injury or damage.

  • The Hirer acknowledges receipt of the Conditions for Hire of the organisation and agrees to those conditions.

  • See Change takes active steps to provide a safe environment by indicating areas and equipment not to be accessed during a function. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring any contractors and guests are aware of these areas to maintain safety.

  • The venue is hired for use with a variety of formats and activities. In the event that there are multi age / multi ability groups on site the Hirer must understand that extra care needs to be taken on some activities to ensure safety.

  • No access is to be made to the top of the any of the monkey bars, cages or walls of the jumping castle at any time. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring this safety requirement is followed.

  • Any child attending a function remains the responsibility of the parent, or the hirer where there is an agreement between the parent and the hirer where the parent is absent. The safety of the child remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian/Hirer.

  • The hirer understands that there is a limit of 25 children to maximise the safety of attendees.

  • See Change has capacity to take one garbage bag of landfill per party. Any excess garbage must be removed from the facility by the Hirer. Under no circumstance are the bins in neighbouring businesses to be used.

The Hirer must not:

and must take active steps to ensure that none of its contractors or guests, do any of the following:

(a) enter areas of the Building other than the Function Area, except for the areas designated by See Change as the route for entry to and exit from the Function Area or for use of kitchen and toilet facilities;

(b) damage, touch, lean against, sit on or move any equipment indicated as off limits.

(c) damage or attempt to damage any part of the Building or its installations, fittings or fixtures;

(d) cause any nuisance to neighbours or other users of the Building;

(e) create excessive noise or vibration in any part of the Building;

The Hirer must:

(a) vacate the Function Area by the end of the Function Time;

(b) promptly remove any goods or materials brought into the Function Area by or on behalf of the Hirer; and

(c) leave the Function Area in a tidy condition.

Deposit and Payment

Once a booking is made and a date secured, a 50% deposit of the full payment is to be paid to secure the booking. Full payment is required 21 days prior to the hire date. The deposit will only be refundable if more than 21 days notice is given. If less than 21 days notice is given and the timeslot is filled, a refund will be given.
